Heritage Farm plays an integral role in Heritage’s mission to redefine sustainable dining. Located just a mile from the restaurant, the farm operates as a true extension of our zero-waste philosophy – providing fresh, seasonal vegetables featured on our tasting menu and repurposing any excess into nutrient-rich compost. This compost supports our regenerative farming practices, turning potential waste into resources that fuel new growth. By supplying ingredients directly from the farm, we create a sustainable cycle that minimizes environmental impact and enhances the freshness of each dish. Together, Heritage and Heritage Farm embody a commitment to waste-free, farm-driven dining.
Sustainability defines our approach to dining at Heritage. Nestled in a century-old craftsman house in Long Beach’s historic Rose Park neighborhood, Heritage is a family-owned restaurant led by siblings Lauren and Chef Philip Pretty. Recognized with a Michelin Star and Green Star in both 2023 and 2024 plus Green and Blue certifications, Heritage offers a nine-step tasting menu that showcases fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative sustainability practices.
